NG Apparels has been cutting, knitting and exporting garments from Ludhiana, Punjab since 1981 — three generations of the same family on the same factory floor. We knit and weave our own fabric, grade our own patterns and ship directly to brand owners, retailers and wholesalers in more than 30 countries.
Because production, sampling and quality control sit under one roof, there is no sourcing agent translating your comments into someone else’s language. You speak to the people who actually make the garment — 45 minutes by air from New Delhi, with a documented audit trail on every order.

From 140 GSM single jersey to 400 GSM brushed fleece, from insulated ski shells to antimicrobial medical scrubs — every style is engineered to your measurement chart, trims and wash standard.

In-house fabric development
Circular knitting, weaving, dyeing and finishing capability lets us build a fabric to your GSM, stretch, shrinkage and hand-feel rather than forcing your design onto stock cloth.

Special finishes & washes
Water repellent, UV protective, stain repellent, antimicrobial and fire retardant treatments, plus enzyme, stone and acid washing for denim and casualwear.

Trims & accessories sourcing
Custom zips, drawcords, woven labels, elastics, badges and embroidery sourced to international brand specification and tested for colour fastness and nickel release.

Sustainable material routes
GOTS certified organic cotton, recycled polyester, bamboo and linen blends with lot-level traceability documents supplied alongside the shipment.

Export logistics
Water-resistant sealed export cartons, full documentation and door-to-door delivery by sea or air — including consolidated shipments for smaller launch quantities.

clothing designs made?”
Three stages, clear turnaround times and one point of contact throughout. Typical total lead time is seven to nine weeks from approved tech pack to sealed export cartons.

1 week turnaround Your idea, in a tech pack
Send the blueprint of your style. Our merchandisers cost it, flag construction risks and confirm fabric availability before anything is cut.

2 weeks turnaround Prototype & PP samples
We cut a first prototype so you can judge fit, stitch quality and drape on a real body, then grade the pattern across your size run.
- Fit, seam and construction review
- Comments incorporated and re-sampled if needed
- Pattern grading for the full size set
- Pre-production sample for final sign-off
Minor adjustments are still possible at PP stage.

4–6 weeks turnaround Bulk, QC & dispatch
Bulk runs on the approved PP sample with inline and end-line inspection, then ships in water-resistant sealed export packaging.

Substitutions are where most overseas orders go wrong. We lock the yarn count, dye house and trim supplier at costing stage, then test against that record before shipment.

Confidentiality of your designs
Your tech packs stay inside our facility from the moment they arrive. Agents typically circulate the same artwork to several unvetted factories for quotes, which is the most common route to plagiarised styles. Patterns and blocks are archived under your brand account only.

Mechanical and chemical finishing including water resistance, UV protection, stain repellency, antimicrobial and fire retardant treatments, plus stone and acid washing — specified, tested and documented per order.
Custom trims & accessories
Bespoke zips, cords, woven and heat-transfer labels, elastics and badges sourced to buyer specification so a young label sits visually alongside established international brands.

Before you send
the first tech pack.
Our working MOQ is typically 300 pieces per style, split across colours and a full size set. Styles built on stock-supported fabrics can start lower, while custom knitted or woven fabric development needs a higher volume because yarn dyeing runs in fixed lot sizes.
Plan on seven to nine weeks in the factory: one week for tech pack review and costing, two weeks for prototype and pre-production samples, and four to six weeks for bulk. Add four to six weeks for sea freight or five to eight days for air.
Yes. We regularly run hoodies, tees and sweatshirts in GOTS certified organic cotton, recycled polyester and bamboo blends, and supply traceability documents for every certified fabric lot so your own sustainability claims stay defensible.
They will. Because we manufacture in-house and work without sourcing agents, your tech packs are never circulated to third-party factories for quotations. Patterns, artwork and blocks stay inside our facility, archived under your brand account for reorders.
